Raymond W. Kubacak

Raymond William Kubacak, age 77 of Temple, died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family.  Raymond Kubacak was born December 25, 1939 in Jarrell, Texas to Anton Kubacak and Mary (Lefner) Kubacak. He married the love of his life Dorothy Kokes on September 8, 1962. Raymond was a character and truly enjoyed life with his wife of 55 years.  He was cherished by his grandkids, family, and friends.  He loved farming, and retired from Wilsonart after 43 years of service.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Benny R. Kubacak. Survivors include his wife Dorothy L. Kubacak of Temple, son, Patrick R. Kubacak and wife Lisa of Belton, daughter Deborah D. (Kubacak) Ingram and husband, David of Temple and three grandchildren, Wyatt and Hailey Ingram and Madison Kubacak. Also surviving is his sister, Sybil (Kubacak) Duncan of Garland and sister-in-law, Dorothy (Marburger) Kubacak of Jarrell and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 3rd at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Steven Sauser as celebrant. Burial will follow at Greathouse Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:30 – 7:00 PM Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with a rosary recited from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Pallbearers are Virgil Canady, Benny Holik, Brian Winkler, Rick Tepera, Keith Jones and Aaron Ingram. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101 or St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Temple, Texas.
