Richard was born on Feb. 17, 1965 in Portland, ME. As a result of an automobile accident Richard went to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct. 24, 2009. He was 44 years old. Richard served our country for 20 years and retired from the U.S. Navy in 2005. He was employed by Pactiv Corporation. Survivors include his devoted wife Cindy, his mother-in-law, Hanna Gest of CA, step-daughter Kristian Billiot and husband John; three grandchildren, John Paul, Hannah, and Royal of LA.; Aunt Yotha Woodmancy of Cedar Park, TX; step-brother Al Gest and wife Lamar of Corpus Christi, TX. Other survivors include his five sisters, Donna, Ruthann, Patricia, Sylvia, and Roberta, and his brother John all of Maine; and two adoring poodles, Choco and Peanut. Memorials Services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2109 West Avenue H, Temple, TX 76504 with Pastor Dana Wilhelmsen officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
