Richard Wayne Barber, age 67, of Temple, TX passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at a local hospital. He was born on December 19, 1947 in Columbus, OH the son of Richard Carl and Clorise Barber. A memorial visitation will take place on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd Temple, TX 76504. Richard served his country in The United States Navy and worked in sales in a variety of different capacities. Richard is survived by his wife Judy of Temple, children; Mary Ann Teel of Denton, TX and David Barber and his wife Joan Miller of Austin, step-sons; Jeff Evelyn and his wife Kristen Henn of Austin and Jason Evelyn and his wife Carrie of Belton, 9 grandchildren; Mark, Matthew, Ethan, Haley, Celeste, Ethan, Gracen, Charlotte, and Margot, and a great granddaughter Emma. He is also survived by his brother Bill Barber and his wife Donna. Richard was preceded in death by his sister Penny Gamble. In lieu of flowers memorials to YouthCue P.O.
