

Robert "Bob" Dean Haddock, age 79, of Temple, TX passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015 at a local care center. Bob was born on November 9, 1935 in Waco, TX the son of Andrew Jackson and Mary Kate Haddock. He and Ruby Mae Ferrill were married in Waco, Texas. Bob graduated from Waco High School where he was a fierce competitor in football. He went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War where he also played football in and around Southeast Asia while stationed in the Philippines. In the late 60's Bob went to work for Moore Business Forms in Waco, TX subsequently opening a branch and bringing his family to Temple, TX in 1970. Bob was immensely successful as a businessman and revered for being superbly honest and loyal to his many friends, customers and business associates, finally retiring after 24+ years of faithful service with Moore in 1993. He cherished being a versatile musician and singer and loved sports as an avid sportsman himself actively participating many years in Little League, playing golf around Central Texas and playing basketball during lunchtime at the Ralph Wilson's Boys & Girls Club. He is survived by his wife Ruby Mae Haddock of Temple, TX, and four children; Robert "Bobby" Haddock and wife, Jacqui of Temple, Tracy Carney and husband, Rick of Belton, Keith Haddock and wife, Sheila of Houston, and Kirk Haddock and wife, Brenda of Houston, and six grandchildren; Jessica and Patrick Carney, and Kaitlyn, Ashleigh, Taylor, and Hunter Haddock, and his brother AJ and wife, Diane Haddock of Houston. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Jackson and Mary Kate Haddock and his sister Mary Ruth Powell. Private family services will be held at a later date. The Haddock family greatly appreciates all the loving thoughts and prayers from everyone Bob's remarkable life has touched.
