Visitation will be 1:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Bobby was born June 16, 1941 in Marlin to Travis and Winifred McKinley Criswell. He was raised in Temple. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Temple. Bobby had a great personality with an infectious laugh. He had a great ability to remember dates and facts about people he loved whether it be family, friends, caretakers, country musicians, or athletes. Bobby loved his family and friends and followed their everyday activities with great interest. He became friends with those assisting him and knew and cared about them and their families. Bobby had many physical hardships in life but he adapted to these and was happy and generated this feeling to others. He was always concerned about others and thankful for things that came his way whether it was a phone call, a homemade treat, or an outing to a Baylor game. He was an avid Baylor Bears and Dallas Cowboys fan as well as the Temple Wildcats. The family would like to thank all of those that assisted in caring for Bobby throughout the years whether it be at home, The Wildflower House or most recently at The Legends in Hillsboro. A special thanks to JS Patton for his many years of friendship and support to Bobby and our family. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Winifred Criswell of Hillsboro, one brother, Mac Criswell and wife, Sheri of St. Louis, Missouri and two sisters, Marsha Hildreth and husband, Craig of Fredericksburg and Jan Webb and husband, Jim of McKinney and several nieces and nephews.
