We would like to express our condolences to Mrs Bowers & the family. Im just seeing this of Mr Bowers passing, so sad to see. We were renting their home on Buckskin for 5 years. I truly enjoyed his company when he would come & work on something around the house. A very handyman indeed he was, reminded me of my Dad bc he fixed it all. Never needed to call in a repairman, bc he could fix whatever it was needed fixing. Mr & Mrs Bowers were always so kind to us and very sweet people, I was sad when we had to move bc they were so kind. I pray the family strength to get thru his passing. God watch over you all and take care of Mrs Bowers 🙏🏽

It was always a fun trip to Uncle Robert & Aunt Dean's. We didn't go every summer, but we did make several trips to Kempner. I loved roaming and exploring the land around their home, and going down to the river and try to skip rocks. We always had Pepsi to drink, his favorite, and he loved his tomatoes!
Miss you & Love you Uncle Robert!

Robert was one of the best men I've ever known, a ministering Christian man, faithful member of Meadow Oaks Baptist Church, friend of many & a loving husband, dad, grandad & great grandad. He was a hard working man & spent much of his time helping keep MOBC in repair. He will always be remembered. Jane Brown
