Roger Dale Ritter

Roger Dale Ritter, age 58 of Nolanville, died Monday, August 13, 2018 at his residence.  Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 18th  at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating.  Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park.  Visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 PM Saturday, August 18th at the funeral home.

Mr. Ritter was born February 25, 1960 in Greensboro, North Carolina to Addison and Naomi Haynes Ritter.  He moved to Killeen in 1981.  He was warehouse manager for H Moving and Storage.  Roger was a New York Giants fan and loved to fish and BBQ.  He had a very good sense of humor and could always make you laugh even during the worst days.  He could always make the best of every situation.  He adored his two Chihuahua puppies and was a family man that really loved his family.  He enjoyed photography and nature.

He was preceded in death by five children, Samuel Ritter, Randy Fernatt, Ronda Goodenough, Robert Fernatt and Charles Fernatt.  Survivors include his parents, Addison and Naomi Ritter of Greensboro, NC, his wife, Patsy Sue Ritter of Nolanville, son, David Ritter of Greensboro and daughter, Monica Smith of Killeen, ten grandchildren, Jaylyn Ritter, James Fernatt, Myranda Trolinder, Deanna Goodenough, Amber Fernatt, Charles Fernatt, Jr., Brittany Fernatt, Emily Melton, Jamie Melton and Charles Smith and five great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are two brothers, J. C. Clonch of Greensboro and Jerry Ritter of Albemarle, NC.
