Ronnie Lee Oldham

Ronnie was born in San Saba, Texas, to L.C. "Mutt" and Evelyn (Humphrey) Oldham. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, a service that remained a source of pride throughout his life.

On June 13, 1970, Ronnie married the love of his life, Bernadette. Together they shared more than 56 years of marriage, building a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to their faith and family.

He was a faithful member of Trinity Church in Temple where he served on the board of directors and was an elder. Ronnie lived a life grounded in faith and kindness. His love for Jesus was evident in every facet of his life. He was an avid reader with a lifelong curiosity and enjoyed learning about a wide variety of subjects. Ronnie also had a passion for automobiles of all kinds. He loved buying, selling, restoring and trading vehicles, and he never met a conversation about cars that he didn't enjoy.

Above all, Ronnie treasured his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal brother whose quiet strength, generous spirit, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Bernadette Oldham of Temple; daughters, Dawn Cook and husband Kirk of Temple, and Brooke McFarland and husband Chris of Temple; grandchildren, Blair Hogben and husband Max of Temple, Abby Cook of Temple, Harper McFarland and Luke McFarland of Temple; brother, Gary Oldham and wife Patti of The Grove; sister, Martha Grimm and husband Glenn of Dallas, Georgia, and sisters-in-law, Roma Caughlin and husband Tim of Belton; Gloria Oldham of Belton; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. A special thank you to his lifelong friend and Navy brother, Garnett (JR) Patton, Jr, of Max Meadows, Virginia, for his unwavering friendship.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.C. "Mutt" and Evelyn Oldham; brothers, Lannie Craig Oldham, Sr. and Bobby Wade Oldham; and sister, Norma Baratta.

The family will receive friends during a visitation from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Trinity Church in Temple. Interment with military honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Ronnie's legacy of faith, love for family, and genuine appreciation for life's simple pleasures will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
