

Rosa was born on October 19, 1957, in Piedmont, Italy, to Orlando and Cristina Anna (Rapa) Marra. From the beginning, Rosa carried a strong spirit shaped by family, tradition, and faith. She later came to the United States and built a life marked by service, dedication, and deep love for those around her.
Rosa proudly served her country in the United States Army, a reflection of her strength, courage, and sense of duty. She continued a lifetime of caring for others through her work as a Registered Nurse in Delaware, a profession she embraced with compassion and grace until her retirement. After retiring, she moved to Temple, Texas.
As a practicing Catholic, Rosa’s faith was an important part of her life and guided her with hope and perseverance.
More than anything, Rosa treasured time with her grandchildren. They were her greatest joy and her heart’s deepest pride. Her love for them was endless, and the memories she created with them will be cherished forever.
Rosa is survived by her loving children: Francis Lawler and spouse Jamie Vance of Elkton, Maryland; Cristina Gallo and spouse Andy of Temple, Texas; and Amy Fair of Wilmington, Delaware. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Julian Lawler, Eliana Lawler, Isabella Gallo, Gabriella Gallo, Alesandra Brink, Angelina Fair, and Anthony Fair.
She is also survived by her siblings: Ernesto Marra and spouse Gabe of Arizona, Vincenzo Marra of Dover, Delaware, and Anna Faren and spouse Kenneth of Fort Worth, Texas.
Rosa was preceded in death by her precious granddaughter Nadia Lawler, her brother Tony Marra, and her beloved parents.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple, Texas, with Military Honors at 3:30 p.m.
Rosa Lawler will be remembered for her unwavering strength, her gentle heart, and her selfless devotion to family. Her legacy of love and service will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her.
