Rosa Vera "Tot" Wigginton

Funeral services for Rosa Vera “Tot” Wigginton, 98, of Temple will be held at 3:30 P.M. Thursday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Emerson, grandson, officiating.  Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Wigginton died Monday in a Temple Care Center. Mrs. Wigginton was born October 31, 1917 in Belton to Fred Richard and Nettie Parker Richard.   She attended school in Belton.  She married James O. Wigginton December 18, 1937.  He preceded her in death Jan. 31, 1971.  She was a homemaker, worked at Wilson Cafe and at Scott and White Memorial Hospital.  She was a member of Seaton Brethren Church and had lived in the Temple and Belton area all of her life.  Survivors include one son Charles Wayne Wigginton of Temple and his wife Lanette; one daughter Glenda Jo Foster of Temple; three grandchildren Philip Foster, Sabra Young and Christi Emerson, nine great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Seaton Brethren Church or to the Charity of Choice. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. Thursday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
