Rosemary Williams

Ms. Williams died Monday in a Temple hospital.

Ms. Williams was born in Texas City to Howard Chester Williams, Sr. and Dorothy Gore Williams.  She graduated from Nursing School in Texarkana and worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.  She lived in Texarkana and Ashdown, Arkansas before moving to Morgan’s Point Resort in 2016.  She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Belton Senior Center and was involved with Morgan’s Point Resort Cub Scouts.  She was a member and sponsor of the local AA Program. 

Survivors include three daughters Melissa Jean Doremus and husband Kelton of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Lauri ann Abell and husband Trevor of Morgan’s Point Resort and Kari Dawn Crabtree and husband Adam of New Boston; one niece Zoe Ann Pierce of Morgan's Point Resort and four grandchildren Lucas Abell, Evan Abell, Amelia Abell and Blaze Crabtree.

Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
