Royella Roessler

Mass of Christian Burial for Royella Roessler, 71, of Temple, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Darrel Kostiha officiating.  Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery at Westphalia.

Mrs. Roessler died Friday in an Austin Hospital.

Mrs. Roessler was born September 18, 1947 in Del Rio to Roy Alston and Ella Fritz Alston.  She graduated from Rock Springs High School.   She moved to Temple in 1970.  She married Maxie Henry Roessler June 15, 1974.  She worked as a switchboard operator for Southwestern Bell and A T & T.   She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; the Altar Society at St. Joseph and SPJST Lodge 47. 

Survivors include her husband Maxie Henry Roessler of Temple; one son Jason Henry Roessler and his wife Amanda of Salado; one daughter Becky Zavodny and her husband Elden of Seaton; one sister Gloria Vernor of Camp Wood; grandchildren Christopher Zavodny, Julia Zavodny, Camden Herrmann and Kaylee Herrmann.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. with Rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
