Ruth Ann Graham Neilson

Ruth was born on August 11, 1946 in Cameron, Texas to parents Wilder K. and Nell (Donevant) Graham. She grew up as the eldest of six children and attended Cameron High School.

Ruth married Ken Neilson in 1996. Ruth worked in many positions at Scott & White, ending her 36-year career with the Scott & White Health Plan.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Neilson of Temple; her son, Brad Wilde of Rogers; her daughter, Jana Schmidt of Round Mountain; her sister, Carolyn Bryan of Cameron, her brother, W.K. Graham, Jr. of Cameron; and her three grandsons, Benjamin Wilde of Temple, Matthew Wilde of Abilene, and Barret Schmidt of Round Mountain.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilder K. and Nell R. Graham; her brothers, Roland Graham and Thomas Graham; and her sister, Margaret (Graham) Hensley.

A memorial celebration will be held Saturday, August 4th, 2018 at 2:00pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home, 3110 Airport Road in Temple.  Pastor Heath Abel of Covenant Lutheran Church in Temple will officiate.
