Shirley Behrman, age 85, of Lampasas died Friday, May 2, 2008 in a Temple hospital. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, May 7 at The Village at Hancock Park in Lampasas. Burial will be private. Ms. Behrman was born December 7, 1922 in Darmont, Pennsylvania to Don Eugene and Pauline Frances (Miller) Weatherwax. She was a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin and Bethany College in North Carolina. She worked as a librarian in the Mineral Wells ISD from 1968 until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Weatherwax who died in 2007. Survivors include three daughters, Cassandra Noel of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Aleta Bonner of Belton, Pam Hoehn of Herod, Illinois and seven grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Phil Weatherwax of Newport News, Virginia and one sister, Marjorie Woodside of Poughkeepsie, New York.
