Stan Paul Whittemore

Funeral services for Stan P. Whittemore, 50, of Temple will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Mr. Whittemore died Sunday in a Round Rock Hospice facility. Mr. Whittemore was born March 13, 1961 to Joe Whittemore and Sandra Shoemate Whittemore. He moved to Temple from the Austin area sixteen years ago. He owned and operated Stan's Pest Control in the Central Texas area. He was a Methodist. He was an avid Nascar fan, golfer and fisherman. Mr. Whittemore was preceded in death by his grandparents. Stan is survived by three loving children, Kaitlin Whittemore and Kara Whittemore of Temple and Kyle Whittemore and his mother of Belton. his parents Joe and Sue Whittemore of Cedar Park and one sister Stacy Wilber and her husband Wayne of Hamshire; two nieces Kacy Murphy and her husband Trey of Winnie and Kelsey Wilber of Hamshire. Memorials may be made to Scott and White Cancer Research Institute-Arthur Frankel laboratory or to Charity of Choice. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
