Services for Steve Hilliard 44, of Lake Belton will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2004 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with the Rev Rodney Bolejack officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 6, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Hilliard died Sunday, October 3, 2004 at his home. He was born in Temple to I. V. and Helga Schmidt Hilliard. He graduated from Temple High School. He owned a trucking company. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are his Mother, Helga Hilliard of Temple; two brothers, Mike Hilliard and Doug Hilliard both of Temple; and his maternal grandmother, Ella Schmidt of Clifton.
