Mrs. Bowers was born in Bowie Maryland. She moved to Temple about thirty one years ago. She attended Nursing School at Temple College and had worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Tutor Nursing Home, CAMLU Care Center and Temple Care Center. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Belton. Survivors include one son Mark James Bowers Jr. and his wife Claudia of Temple and three grandchildren Angela Bowers of Waco, Mark James Bowers III and Zachary Isiah Bowers both of Temple.
