Terry Lynn Davis

Terry Lynn Davis, age 50 of Temple, died Friday, May 30, 2014 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 6-8:00 PM Friday, June 6, 2014 at the funeral home. Mr. Davis was born on August 6, 1963 in Temple, Texas. He attended schools in Temple. Terry loved hunting, fishing and being around his family. He was a member of Faith Temple Lighthouse in Temple. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Guthrie. Survivors include his parents, Charles and Linda Brinzo Davis of Temple; a daughter, Amber Davis of Troy; a son, Colton Davis and wife Izera of Troy; a sister, Cheryl Mikeska and husband Mark of College Station; a brother, Charlie Davis and wife Delania of Temple; two grandchildren, Lidia and Braelyn Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be Rusty Tomasek, Troy Tomasek, Brandon Sofge, C.J. Davis, Dennis Smith, Josh Mikeska, Tyler Davis and Colton Davis.
