Thelma Annette Pace was born June 12, 1933, in Goldthwaite, Texas and died December 9, 2023, in Sugar Land, Texas. Her parents were M.L. and Lena V Lindsay. She married Douglas W. Pace in October 1974. Annette was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Marvin and C. D., sister-in-law, Pat, and son, Warren.
Making her 90th birthday was a highlight of Annette’s life. She celebrated for a week with family and friends with 4 different celebrations. Annette was a very social person. She enjoyed many activities with her friends. When she met someone, she would in due time learn their history and be able to make them feel at home.
Annette loved animals and always had a dog and sometimes two in her home. Her final one, Brucie, a min pin, was well loved and cared for and gave Annette much company and affection in return. He has been adopted by his second mom, Annette’s dear friend, Judy Heron.
Annette (which she always preferred to be called in addition to Mom, Grandma, Grammie and GGMA) is survived by two daughters and their families: Kathy & Denny Brownell of Burwell NE, Cindy & Alger Lowe of Sugar Land, TX, grandson, Brian & Julie Brownell of Burwell, NE, granddaughters, Jamie & Jesper Marcussen of Gilbert, AZ and Amber Lowe and significant other, Cameron Meyer of Hutto, TX and great grandson, Cory Brownell of Norfolk, NE and great granddaughter, Kelli Brownell of Burwell, NE, Nephew Mark Lindsay and Nita of Priddy, TX and Niece Terry Johnson of Goldthwaite, TX. Annette was blessed with many close friends which she also considered family.

Memorial/Internment Service will be held at Central Texas Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Killeen, TX on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
