Services for Timothy Joe Houston, age 64 of Temple, will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Lianne Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Holland Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 – 11:00am Wednesday prior to the funeral service.
Mr. Houston died Friday, September 10, 2021 at a local hospital. He was born on December 10, 1956 in Temple, Texas to the late Melvin Ray Houston and Julie Elizabeth Pace Houston. He attended schools in Academy and graduated from Academy High School in 1975. He was a registered nurse and worked at several places, most recently at the Temple Veterans Administration Hospital for over 10 years. He dearly loved a garage sale as well as a Sami Show. He also loved traveling and had a trip planned for Honduras that he didn’t get to make. Timothy was a loving soul who loved his family as well as the family get-togethers. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include a step son, Eric Christopher Everroad of Abilene; a brother, Ronald Houston and wife Judy of Salado as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
