Tommy Dale is preceded in death by his parents Billy and Loretta Tate and grandparents, James and Lois Tate, Bobby Caswell and Helen Bowkley.
Tommy Dale was born on June 17, 1959, to Billy and Loretta Tate in Grapevine, Texas. He lived a life full of laughter, generosity, and a deep love for his family and the outdoors. He was a man of many talents. He was able to work on and drive any vehicle or piece of equipment. He spent many of his early years driving an 18-wheeler truck and farming on his land. In 1985 he welcomed his first daughter, Tabitha Tate. Tommy Dale later married Karen Tate on July 8th, 1989. He quickly became a father to her two kids, Wesley Atwell, and Carrie Soledad. Shortly after, Tommy Dale and Karen welcomed two more girls, Teresa Roldan and Brittany Fitzgerald, to complete the family.
Tommy Dale enjoyed camping at the lake with his family, playing on the jet skis, and swimming, but his most loved activity was fishing on his boat. Whether it was putting out trotlines/juglines to catch his large catfish or trolling the waters while his grandkids cast their lines. Tommy Dale treasured all the time he was able to spend with his family.
Tommy Dale’s greatest accomplishment was his role as a father and grandfather. He was always there to lend a helping hand with his expert knowledge whether it be fixing a car or helping work on the land. He was present and loved in every aspect of their lives. Tommy Dale was the family rock. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
