Funeral services for Velma Baggett, 97, of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Baggett died Friday in a Temple Nursing Home. Mrs. Baggett was born in Limestone County to Acie and Fairer Adams. She married W.H. (Doc) Baggett on June 23, 1945. He preceded her in death April 1, 1976. She moved to Temple from Killeen in 1947. She was a homemaker and a member of Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include one sister Lucille Carter of Forney and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Heights Baptist Church Senior Adults. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home.
