Viola Rose Stermer

Mrs. Stermer died Saturday Feb. 16, 2019 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Stermer was born in Westphalia June 26, 1929 to Joseph Robert Kleypas and Otilia Beach Kleypas.  She graduated from Rosebud High School.  She married Bernard Joseph Stermer January 15, 1949 in Westphalia.  He preceded her in death August 22, 2013.  She lived in Temple most of her life and was a member of St Luke Catholic Church.  She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Stermer was preceded in death by three sons Curtis Stermer, Bruce Stermer and Brian Stermer and four brothers Wils Kleypas, Lee Kleypas, Richard Kleypas and James Kleypas.

Survivors include one son Craig Stermer and his wife Christine of Austin; two daughters Karen Patton and her husband Billy of Lufkin and Susan Stermer of Temple; two brothers George Kleypas of Waco and Robert Joseph Kleypas of Duncanville; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Scott and White Hospice or to St. Luke Catholic Church.

Vigil Service/Rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday at St. Luke Catholic Church.
