Virginia Naomi McClain, 89, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Troy died Sunday, September 24, 2006 in a Las Vegas hospital. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2006 at the Roberts Cemetery in Troy with Greg Crawford officiating. Mrs. McClain was born October 5, 1916 in Moody, Texas to John Grady and Ada Duren Bostick. She married Hallet McClain on December 17, 1935, he died in 1983. She also was preceded in death by a sister Vera Akers. Survivors are one daughter, Glenda Pomykal of Troy; one son, Michael McClain of Las Vegas, Nevada; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
