William Howard Moore, age 70, of Troy died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in a local hospital. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 2, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Deacon Joe Vela officiating. Burial with military honors will be at North Belton Cemetery. Mr. Moore was born March 4, 1942 in Cynthiana, Kentucky to Frank M. and Betty Howard Moore. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He had been a resident of Troy for the past 10 years. He retired from American Desk in Temple. After retirement he worked as a janitor at Troy High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and his wife, Clara Luna Moore. Survivors include one son, Ricky Luna of Temple, three daughters, Teresa Luna of Troy, Becky Luna of San Antonio and Josie Abilez of Bruceville-Eddy and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and four sisters all of Kentucky.
