William Adrian Jones, Jr. William Adrian Jones, Jr. 79, of Temple passed away Sunday April 18, 2010 in a Temple Nursing Home. Mr. Jones was born in Oak Park, Illinois the son of William Adrian and Irene Simpson Jones Sr. Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday April 21, 2010 at the Presbyterian Church of Salado with Rev. Carl V. Thompson, Jr. officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Mr. Jones moved Material Transportation Company from Chicago to Temple in 1977. He retired in 1997 and then opened Electric-Chef Grills in Temple. He was a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow. He was a veteran of the Air Force National Guard. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife Ethel Jones of Temple as well as children William Jones III and wife April, Robert Jones and wife Lois, Ada Andrist and husband Larry, Fred Scott Jones, Richard Dudley Jones and wife Lorraine. He is also survived by stepchildren Diane and Tom O' Brian and Chris and Cindy Flink. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren and a sister Anna May Pickering. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Tuesday April 20, 2010 at the Funeral Home. Scanio-Harper Funeral Home of Temple is in charge of arrangements.
