

Wilma Lemmons Ray, age 79, of Temple died Thursday, September 24, 2009 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 26, at First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Don Boesel officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Ray was born on December 3, 1929 in Wills Point to Thomas Dennis and Johnnie Naomi (Adkins) Robbins. She had been a resident of Temple for over 60 years. She married Tommy C. Lemmons on April 26, 1948 in Kermit. He died in 1990. She later married Wilbur Samuel Ray in June, 1995. He died in 1998. She retired from Ralph Wilson Plastics. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and V.F.W. Post 1820 Ladies Auxiliary where she had served in various positions. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Donald and Buddy Robbins and one sister, Annelle Robbins. Survivors include three sons, Tommy C. Lemmons, Jr. and wife, Trice of Livingston, Dennis Lemmons and wife, Gayle of Katy, Kevin Lemmons of Temple, three sisters, Kathryn Duke of Fort Worth, Pat Bartek of Temple, Carolyn Kelley Goldsmith and husband, David of Cego and one brother, Larry Robbins and wife, Debbie of Gun Barrell City. She was also survived by four grandchildren, Brian Lemmons and wife, Tammie, Todd Lemmons, Stacy Lightsey and husband, Steve all of Katy and Pamela Lemmons of Austin and two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Cooper Lemmons of Katy.
