

Albert Joseph Malfitano, 88, of Toms River passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Albert was born in Newark, NJ to the late Luciano and Agatha Malfitano and had lived in Brooklyn and North Jersey before moving to Toms River 14 years ago. Albert worked as a building contractor his whole life and was a Supervisor and Foreman on many industrial developments.
In his spare time, Albert loved to go crabbing, shoot pool, watch the New York Yankees, garden, watch old movies, canning tomatoes every year and most importantly spending time with his family.
Albert was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Lois, in 2015; and his son, Steven, in 2019. He is survived by his loving daughter Jeanne and fiancé Eddie, his son Albert Jr. and his wife Minnie, and his daughter Kim LaPalme. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Danielle, Christine, Sarah, Samantha, Nicholas, Paul and great-granddaughter Lexi; and his brother, Angelo Malfitano.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 2-6 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. Funeral Services will begin promptly at 5:30 pm.
