Alexander Wallace

Alexander “Al” Wallace, 71, passed away suddenly Monday, February 26, 2024.He was born on April 23, 1952 in Glasgow, Scotland.In 1957, he moved to Keansburg, New Jersey and resided there for 55 years.He later moved to Toms River where he currently resided for the last 17 years. He was retired from Anchor Glass and Heyco after 48 years.

Al is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, De (Diane Drugas) Wallace, his son Joseph Wallace and wife Laura (Kerrigan) Wallace, cherished grandchildren Ryan Wallace and Kennedy Wallace, his dear sister Ann (Wallace) Filiatreault and husband George Filiatreault, nephew AJ Filiatreault and wife Bryanne (Marx) Filiatreault.

Al and De were avid travelers and went on many exciting and joyous adventures. They religiously donated blood whenever they could and both had blood that could be used in babies. He was an organ donor and parts of his body will be used to help future people. He maintained his lawn and yard in a meticulous manner. Al will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, New Jersey 08755

A Catholic service will begin at 6:00 PM.
