Alfred “Fred” Baginski, 89, of Toms River passed away on Sunday February 3rd, 2013 at home with his loving wife. Born in Brooklyn, NY he resided in Plainview, NY prior to moving to Toms River in 1996. Alfred was a World War II Navy Veteran serving from 1942 -1945. He was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church in Toms River and member of the American Legion Post 1000 of Trenton and Ocean County Polish-American Club. Alfred worked as an experimental machinist for various companies for over 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Estelle, sons James Baginski of NY, NY and Thomas and Donna Baginski of Metuchen, NJ, grandchildren Elizabeth and Allison and a niece and many nephews. Visitation will be Thursday February 7th, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday February 8th, 2013 at 9:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church in Toms River. Interment will follow at the New Jersey Veteran’s Cemetery.
