Alfred J. Latore originally of Brooklyn and Toms River went home to God on December 27th at age 100. He was residing at the Excellent Facility of Sunrise Assisted Living in Randolph. He was the loving son of Charles and Anna Latore and the loving husband of the late Lillian Latore, brother of the late Stella Latore, and brother-in-law of the late Robert Marz Surviving is his sister Marguerite Marz. He was like a second father to his two nieces and nephew, Susan Vitta, Deborah Tusi and Dr. Gary Vitta . He was like a second grandfather to his great nephew and nieces, Dr. Alyson Vitta Leloia and Jeff Leloia, Jason Tusi, Pamela Vitta and Erika Tusi and his great great niece, Vanessa Rose Leloia. He will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace with those that preceded him. Visiting will be held Tuesday from 10-11 am at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe R. C. Church, Berkeley Twp. Entombment will at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
