She was born on March 9,1929 to Andrew and Mary Prokopets in NY, NY. Anne was married for 72 years to the love of her life, Joseph, who entered into eternal life 12 days prior to her passing. They are together once again, celebrating everlasting happiness.
Employed by NJ Bell as a Manager/Operator Services, Anne retired in 1985 after 38 years of dedicated service. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Known as Mom-Mom to her loved ones, she treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. Because of Anne’s vivacious personality, she had the capability of getting people around her to smile. She made friends wherever she went and she will truly be missed by everyone whose life was touched by her.
Anne was an avid gardener and also loved creating delicious meals. The family especially enjoyed the ethnic Eastern European specialties prepared by her which included chicken paprikash, pierogi, stuffed cabbage and the best kifli cookies that anyone ever tasted. She practiced her faith at Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church where she was a parishioner for 57 years. Anne embraced her religion and her love of God, and passed along these beliefs and the importance of faith, to her family.
