Born in Newark, she resided in Fords before settling in Holiday City Heights community of Toms River almost 40 years ago.
Prior to retiring, Anne worked for Eastern Airlines for over 20 years. After retiring, she worked for First Savings Bank and Amerada Hess. She was also involved in charity work, having served as the fundraising chairman for the Middlesex County Association for Children with Special Needs. She was also a member of the Young Democrats Association and worked on the board of elections. Anne married her first husband, Victor Casano in 1952, until his passing in 1969. She later married her second husband, John Mastrobattista in 1973 until his passing in 2015.
Surviving are her daughters: Carol Stewart, and Roseanne Krowl and her husband William; and her son, Victor Casano, Jr.; three grandchildren: Jon, Nicole, and Victoria; and four great-grandchildren: Gabriella, Maxim, Alexandra, and Alessandra.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 4-8PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 10AM at St. Maximilian RC Church, Toms River. Interment will immediately follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
