

Anthony J. Perrotta, 86, of Toms River passed away on Tuesday July 24th, 2012 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he moved to Toms River in 1997. He was a World War II Navy Veteran serving from 1944 to 1946 and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, playing cards, shooting pool and gardening. He worked for the family business, Patsy’s Meat Market, in the Park Slope Section of Brooklyn for 45 years until his retirement in 1986. He was predeceased by his brother Peter. Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years Sally La Rocco Perrotta, son Anthony and wife Cathy Perrotta of Marlboro, NJ, daughter Joanne and husband Albert D’Agosta of Staten Island, 4 grandchildren Michael and wife Danielle D’Agosta of Staten Island, Gregory and wife Nicola D’Agosta of Staten Island, Lauren Perrotta of Marlboro and Catherine Perrotta of Marlboro, 4 great grandchildren Julie, Deborah, Alexa and Gianna and sister Rose Orlandi of Staten Island. Visitation will be Thursday July 26th, 2012 from 10-11am at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Funeral Service will be offered at 11am at Quinn Hopping. Interment will follow at the New Jersey Veteran’s Cemetery.
