Antonio P. Raposo, 79, of Toms River, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday April 8th. Born in Freeland, PA, Antonio was raised in Newark and lived in Bloomfield for 35 years before moving to Toms River 9 years ago. He was a member of Union Local #472 in Newark for 55 years.
Antonio is survived by his wife of 60 years Mary Ann (nee Mirandi); two daughters, Denise and Peter Cantalupo of Kenilworth and Toni Ann and John Goncalves of Old Bridge; two sisters, Dolores and James Mazzillo of Toms River and Gloria Chirico of Bloomfield; two grandchildren, Peter and his wife Rachel Cantalupo and Patrice Cantalupo and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held from 10 AM to 12:30 PM on Friday April 11, 2014 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. We will then process to Hollywood Memorial Park in Union where a graveside service will take place at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPCA.
