Arleen M. Flaherty, age 79, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Community Medical Center. She was born in Newark, NJ to the late Frank and Helen Benedetto. She had lived in Kearny before settling in Toms River in 2015. Prior to retiring, Arleen was a secretary/ office manager for Woodside Decorators in West Orange, NJ for 30 years.
Arleen enjoyed walking on the boardwalk and going to the beach, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Arleen was predeceased by her sister Angela Benedetto and brother James Benedetto. She is survived by her sons John and Michael Flaherty (Jennifer) and grandsons Brendan and Michael Flaherty Jr. as well as her brother Frank and nephews Jimmy and Michael (Stephanie) Benedetto.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM with a service at 3:30 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755.
