Benny Leroy

Bernard (Benny) LeRoy, 83 of Toms River passed away Monday May 30, 2011 at Van Dyke Hospice in Toms River, NJ. Born in Garfield, NJ he resided there until 1990 when he moved to Berkeley Township. He worked for Alegra Tech. in Nutley, NJ for 20 years then Precision Prototype in Garfield, NJ until his retirement in 1990. Bernard was an armed service veteran and belonged to VFW post 10185 and the Elks 1875 of Toms River. He was an avid NY Yankee fan and loved gardening. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rose LeRoy(Milazzo). He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Ann LeRoy(Marro); son Joseph and wife Jane LeRoy of Tinton Falls; Daughter Rosalyn and husband Joseph Assaly of Little Falls; daughter Sharon and husband Stanley Szumera of West Milford; daughter Susan and husband Lonnie Evener of Beachwood and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday June 3rd 2011 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Funeral Mass will be Saturday June 4th 2011 at 10:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Township. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ.
