Bob Price

Robert Charles Price, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 9th in Toms River, NJ. Bob was born in Passaic, the son of Robert C. Price Sr., and Marie Baumgardner. Bob worked for Frazier & Son in Clifton for 35 years, retiring in 2001.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Cordner Price and their two daughters, Denise Geddis and her husband Ron, and Donna Thorpe and her husband Jim. Also surviving are Bob’s two adored grandson, Quentin Geddis and Kevin Thorpe and his almost granddaughter Andrea Cipriano.

Bob was an avid NY Mets fan and NY Giants fan, always saying “wait till next year.”

After moving to Holiday City Carefree in 2011, Bob was most happy playing bocce, darts and outdoor shuffleboard. He was grateful to have the opportunity to travel with Jackie and Quentin to Ireland, Scotland, London, and Paris and loved the many road trips taken with best friends Marge and Joe.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 3 pm to 7 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, with funeral services to begin promptly at 5 pm. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation or Shriners Hospital for Children.
