Brenda McIlveen

Brenda McIlveen, born Brenda Emily Kasper, passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, and spent her early years in Union City & Hoboken before making Secaucus her home for most of her adult life.

Brenda’s working career started as a secretary at Equitable. She then worked at Meadowlands Consumer Center as a recruiter for many years until she retired.

Brenda was a talented and creative person who loved painting ceramics and was especially known for the beautiful detail she brought to her coloring. She enjoyed bowling, shopping, and had a special love for jewelry. She loved Christmas trees & Christmas was her favorite holiday.

Brenda was a beloved aunt and was loved by her family. She shared a very special bond with Lori Rotunno, who was like a daughter to her. She will be lovingly remembered by Lori, her husband Christopher Rotunno, their children Jake and his wife Rachel, Anthony, and Hannah, and her great-nephew Parker. She is also survived by her sister, Ellen LoBianco, Ellen’s husband John, nieces and nephews.

Brenda will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and the many memories she created with those who loved her.

Funeral Services will be private at Grove Church Cemetery.
