Carl Schnering

Carl was a retired Newark Firefighter and proudly served for 27 years. He was a man who loved sports, with his favorite team being the Pittsburgh Steelers. His favorite season was summer and was always at the beach. He was not a man to back down from a bet and loved trying his luck at the horse tracks.

Carl is survived by his wife Adele Schnering, sons Kyle Schnering (wife Sara Hires) and Nicholas Schnering; His sisters Laurel Rufalo, Robin Wright, Meryllee DeFillipo and Loretta Kravchenko, and his brother Erik Schnering. He had many nieces and nephews.

Carl was predeceased by his parents, Joyce and Robert Schnering, and his brother Robert Schnering Jr.

There will be a Memorial Visitation held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755.
