Carol Edith Darpino, age 78, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at home under hospice care. Carol was a resident of Toms River for the last 11 years. She was a retired waitress and short order cook. Carol was a traveling enthusiast with her husband, and she was an avid collector of commemorative plates and shot glasses. She is survived by her beloved husband Joseph. Carol was one of seven children and was predeceased by two of her siblings and is survived by four siblings and their families. Relatives and friends will be received from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday in the funeral home followed by entombment in the Hollywood Memorial Park Mausoleum in Union, NJ.
