Caroline A. Biancola, 91, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Thursday November 29, 2012 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, PA, to her parents, Carmela Predale and Nicola Aquilini, raised by her mother and step-father, Filippo Androsiglio, she was predeceased by her sister Josephine. Caroline lived her entire life in Newark, NJ before moving to Toms River 8 years ago. She worked as a seamstress, as lead cook for St. Francis Xavier Grammar School Cafeteria in Newark where she was also a very active church member, communicant and longtime member of The Rosarians. She also found great satisfaction in her work at The Board of CPA for The State of New Jersey in later years.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years Nicholas J. Biancola, Sr.; two daughters, Dolores A. Nardone (her late husband Phillip W.) of Toms River, Joyce A. Mazza and her husband Egidio of Bayville, NJ; her son Nicholas J. Biancola, Jr. and his wife Adriana of Westwood, NJ; two grandchildren, Deanna, her husband Mark and Michael and great-grandchild Isabella.

Visiting hours will be held from 3 to 8 PM on Sunday December 2, 2012 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday December 3, 2012, 12 Noon at St. Francis Xavier RCC, 243 Abington Avenue, Newark, NJ 07107. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association and/or The Susan G. Komen for the Cure Cancer Society. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting

She was a beautiful caring women when I knew her so many years ago. I have such wonderful memories of Caroline during our days working in the cafeteria at St. Francis. She always had a smile on her face, and accepted life as Gods' will. She leaves a wonderful legacy, something your family I'm sure is proud of.
