Born in Cedar Run, he lived in Bayville before moving to Whiting 7 years ago.
Prior to retiring in 1990, he worked as an electrical technician for the Lakehurst Naval Engineering Station, Lakehurst . Mr. Hamilton was also a Veteran of the Army National Guard.
He was predeceased by his wife Patricia in 2016 and by a granddaughter Louise Hurt
Surviving are 2 daughters: Trina Anderson of Pt. Pleasant and Joyce Lewis and her husband Brian of Delaware. A son Michael Hamilton of North Carolina. 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday from 11 am- 12:30pm with a funeral service to begin at 12:30pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River. Burial will follow at Good Luck Cemetery, Lanoka Harbor.
