Charlotte A Johnson

Charlotte A. Johnson, 95, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Thursday December 20, 2012 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in Jersey City, she was a lifelong resident there prior to moving to Toms River in 2003. She worked for Western Electric Inc in Kearny, NJ for 25 years retiring in 1976.

She was predeceased by her first husband Edward Henry , her second husband Benjamin Johnson, her sister Stella Bara and her brother Anthony Mackiewicz. She is survived by her daughter Charlotte DeGeorge of Toms River and her son James Henry of Bayonne and her sister Bertha Chayka of Toms River. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours are Sunday December 23, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday December 24, 2012 at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River at 11:30 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
