David Jacob Casey, 82, of Point Pleasant Boro, New Jersey passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ. Born in Long Branch, Dave was raised in Keansburg, NJ and had lived in Point Pleasant for over 45 years. He was a Truck Driver for the Asbury Park Press for 25 years retiring in 2012. After retirement Dave went on to work for ABC Caging Fulfillment Services as a Courier till January 2024.
Dave enjoyed Atlantic City, family vacations and cruises. He was an avid New York Yankees fan. Most importantly Dave loved spending time with his family especially his granddaughter Isabella.
Dave was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Doris Casey and his brother Raymond Casey. Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years Martha (Tapovci), his two daughters, Jennifer Compton and her husband Jeremy, Lisa Filoso and her husband Adam and his granddaughter Isabella Filoso. Also surviving is his brother Harvey Casey and his wife Patricia and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 2-6 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, NJ 08755.
