Dolores (sometimes lovingly referred to by her family as Aunt Dolores, Aunt DeeDee, Aunt Delodie, Wa, Heather, Grams), a beloved mother and grandmother and the heart of her family, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 13, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was 97 years old.
Born on April 1,1928, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Antonio and Josephine Errichetti. She and her 8 siblings spent their young years in Philadelphia summering in Seaside Park, NJ. Dolores lived a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to family. She never worked outside the home, choosing instead to dedicate her life fully to caring for those she loved—a role she fulfilled with kindness, pride, and unwavering commitment.
Dolores was known for her incredible Italian cooking, especially her cherished rice pudding and pepper salad, which became a symbol of comfort, tradition, and togetherness for her family. Her small kitchen was a place of warmth, where meals were made with love and memories were shared freely.
She could be seen by family and strangers sitting on her front porch in the sunshine. She loved a good tan and the friendly waves of passer byers. She always made sure she had on her lipstick and earrings regardless of the occasion. She was true to her family number- a “10”!
Kind by nature, Dolores was gentle in every sense of the word. She never raised her voice and met everyone with patience and compassion. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she found great joy in attending church, which brought her both comfort and community.
She also loved her exercise class, where she formed close friendships and spent time with her cherished group of girlfriends. Always active and engaged, Dolores had a special talent for cleaning out drawers and organizing—finding satisfaction in bringing order and care to every space, just as she did in her life. She also enjoyed gardening and cleaning out the weeds to keep her property looking pristine.
Above all else, Dolores’s family was her greatest joy and highest priority. Her love was constant, selfless, and deeply felt by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, faith, and grace that will live on through generations.
Dolores is predeceased by her husband Anthony (1980) and son Joseph (2020). Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons Ronald(Camille) and Bruce (Susan). Her grandchildren, Christine (Mike), Anthony (John), Nina, Dominick and Michael. She is also survived by her three precious great grandchildren, John, Gia, and Luke as well as her sister, Geraldine (Longo)and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and their families.
