Domenick Orlando

Born in Newark, NJ to the late Augustine and Carmela Orlando, Domenick lived and raised his family in Colonia, NJ, prior to moving to Toms River, NJ upon his retirement.

Domenick was a proud member of the Teamsters. As a driver for Gross & Hecht and Roadway Express, he provided exceptional service, always with a smile. He finished his career as Secretary/Treasurer for Teamsters Local 701.

Domenick enjoyed gambling and could often be found playing card games in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. He also enjoyed music, dancing and traveling, especially to Florida where she spent many years walking along the Siesta Key beach with his love, Joanna.

Domenick is predeceased by her beloved wife of 65 years Joanna and his grandson Joseph Del Buono. He is survived by his children, Laura Orlando, Philip and Lisa Orlando and Gina Orlando. Also surviving are his two grandchildren and two great grandchildren: Gina and James Thompson, Angelo Del Buono, Jayce and Jaelyn Thompson.

Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday July 22, 2026 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Entombment will be at 11:30 am on Thursday July 23, 2026 at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum 340 Ridge Road North Arlington, NJ 07031.
