He was a strong, loving, friendly man that being deaf did not exclude him from life. Always with a smile or waving his hand in the air!
Donald leaves a loving wife, Judy Brennan and three daughters, Beth Brennan, Middletown, DE, Amanda Brennan, Middletown, DE and Katie Kander, Toms River, NJ with broken hearts. Donald and Judy have eight grandchildren Samantha Truszkowski, Pine Beach, NJ Jarvis Brennan, Middletown, DE; the apple of his eye. Molly Brennan, Middletown, DE, Julie Anna Brennan, Middletown, DE James Brennan, Middletown, DE, Greyson Truszkowski, Middletown, DE, Autumn Truszkowski, Middletown, DE and our little guy, Boston Brennan, Middletown, DE. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Brennan and Margaret Lipari-Brennan, his prior wife Vicki L. Brennan and his two older brothers, Bob Brennan and Rich Brennan. Donald has four loving sisters; Margaret Bower, Mancester, NJ, Mary Ellen Vaz and her husband Tony "father" Vaz, Seaside Heights, NJ, Kathleen Cox and her husband Jim, Toms River, NJ Sandra Brennan, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Uncle Donald will be missed by fourteen nephews and 11 nieces and their families who each have a strong bond with him.
Donald graduated from Marie H. Katzenbach School for the Deaf in 1972. He learned silk screening, printing, played multiple sports including baseball. Everyone knows he was a avid Redskins football fan and loved NASCAR. He went on to be a meticulous house painter and carpenter. Donald has been a productive member of the deaf community and was the current president of the Ocean Deaf Club.
Donald was a warm and inviting person that has made thousands of friends in his lifetime and has had many special close friends for decades. He has made a huge footprint on many lives.
