Donald Dwyer

He worked as a Supervisor for the NJ Turnpike Authority for 26 years until his retirement in 2005.

Surviving is his loving wife of 50 years Rose Ann (nee Dugan). He was the devoted father to daughters Diane and husband Eric Erdenberger of New Providence, Keri Dwyer and John Checorski of Bayonne, and Christine and husband Sean Wulff of Old Bridge and loving Papa to Emily Daniel, and Sarah. Donald is also survived by brothers William and Richard Dwyer of Bayonne, and sister Doris Altamuro of Bernardsville. He was predeceased by his brother James Dwyer. He also leaves behind a large extended family.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 10:30 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church in Toms River. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
