Doris M. Maddox

Doris M Maddox, 89, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., Doris had lived in Pittsburgh until moving to NJ 1968 and residing in Toms River. She was a Tester with Sonatronics, Belmar, NJ for 6 years.

Doris loved Musical Theater and frequented Surflight Summer Theatre, Long Beach Island. She enjoyed coloring and doing puzzles but most importantly Doris loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly.

She was predeceased by her husband Ralph A Maddox Sr., her son Ralph A Maddox Jr., and her grandson Raymond J Chadwick. Surviving are her two children; Theresa Chadwick and Robert Maddox. Also surviving are her four grandchildren; Clarence H. Chadwick IV, Christopher J. Chadwick, Bonnie A. Pompilio and her husband Joe, Nadine M. Ramales and her husband Miguel, her five great grandchildren; Adrianna, Gabriella, Nathaniel, Joseph and Peyton.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 9 am to 11 am at the Quinn-Hopping funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. A Celebration of Doris' life will be held at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow to Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
